He moves to Tuscany to find peace and resolve issues from the past and face the grief of his father’s death. He meets a local girl who slowly brings about a change in the way he sees life.

Nonetheless, Toscana has received praise for its cinematography since the setting of the film is seen to be in beautiful picturesque locations. Toscana was mostly filmed in a small region located near Central Italy called Tuscany. In Italian, the name translates to Toscana, hence the name of the movie.

Geographically, the region is about 8,900 square miles in area and resides approximately 3.8 million citizens. The film Toscana has shot here in Tuscany and the beautiful landscapes of the place are a treat for the eyes. The cinematographer of the movie, Michael Sauer Christensen has done a great job in capturing the charm of Tuscany. The Apuan Alps and the Apennine Mountains contribute a lot to Tuscan beauty.
