Truth Be Told is an American television series by Apple TV+. It is adapted from the novel Are You Sleeping, which was written by Kathleen Barber. The story is about Poppy Parnell, a crime podcaster. He was asked to monitor the case of a criminal, Warren Cave. When Cave believes he was accused of the crime, Parnell will have to make a tough decision between justice and injustice.

Expected Plot
‘Brick by Brick It Also Falls’ is the title of Episode 9, and it appears to be a reference to Micah’s kingdom, which is falling. Micah should expect to deal with major negative press in the future episode as it is revealed that her amazing memoir is built on a stolen tale. There’s more about Joshua and Drew’s murder than meets the eye, and Poppy will keep following up on leads to solving the case.
The legal battle over Poppy’s first-season podcast is also heating up, and we may expect a decision soon. The outcome will reveal that whether the journalist who turned the podcaster wants to pursue the case or not, and the next episode 9 may provide some insight into her decision.
Recap Of Episode 8
Truth Be ToldSeason 2 Episode 8 is titled The Untold Story. Rose’s life is ultimately revealed in-depth in the upcoming episode, and we learn how she and Micah were very close. On the other hand, the author took Rose’s life story and republished it like her own. Micah’s husband Joshua agreed to disclose the truth when Rose bought it to his attention.
Micah was going to come clean on a special evening, but she dropped out and had Rose booted out of the event. Rose gets jailed for the deaths of Joshua, and his son Drew, having told her side of the story. Meanwhile, Poppy finally has a head meeting with Holt Redding, who admits to the murders of Joshua and Drew. However, it is discovered that Redding is dishonest, and Poppy thinks if he is confessing to the murders to keep Rose from just being jailed.
The point of why Redding is prepared would go to such efforts to safeguard Micah’s mystery is also raised, and Poppy’s upcoming podcast show ends with her declaring that, even though the perpetrator has been apprehended, the murder remains unsolved. Micah then sneaks into Rose’s hospital ward at night to finish the show.
