The 8th episode reached new emotional levels. Jeanne realizes that she has feelings for Vanitas. Vanitas realizes what has been weighing him down and it is love in the end. Master Luca detaches himself from reality. We also see Roland giving advice and then, later on, see Oliver pointing out to Roland that he has become attached to Vanitas.
The 8th episode changed from being serious to becoming a comedy show. The anime has many low-key humorous comedy points but also doesn’t mind going into serious situations without any plan. In the 8th episode, we see it going from an episode filled with blood to an episode filled with comedy. With the transitions being so smooth and versatile, the fans keep on wanting more of the anime.

Inori Minase and Ai Kayano voiced the supporting characters like Jeanne and Dominique de Sade. The other two supporting characters which are Roland Fortis and Astolfo Grantum are voiced by Kengo Kawanishi and Ayumu Murase.
