This is an American romantic drama series. The first season was released in December of 2019. Second season in 2020, in November, and third season in 2021 in July. By September, they are planning to go in for a Fourth season too.
What is the Series About?
Melinda is a woman who has had a very different past, and now to make ends meet, she’s taken up a job in Virgin River. She saw an ad about the requirements of a midwife or a nurse. And seeing the urgency of her situation, she responds to it and quickly gets accepted too.
Now, this lady has been through a lot, and she wants a different environment. She thinks that this job will give her good exposure and help her calm her nerves that have been raging ever since she thought of dealing with her past and her incidents.
This small town would not have much to offer, but this town changes her perception here, and she knows that it’s going to change her entire life, and it won’t be as easy as it seems. She will have to heal from the wounds soon enough to take this place up.
What Have The Three Seasons To Tell You?
The three seasons have successfully portrayed that Melinda is trying to overcome the loss of her husband and leave behind the big city and adjust to this small city for she needs the job. She arrives at the place but isn’t welcomed wholeheartedly. She is just a physician kind of person, so that’s the treatment.
She finds that nothing matches up to the advertisement that was given. Not even the place that she was asked to stay in matched the requirements.
What Keeps Her Back?
She’s wife, who has just lost her husband, and now before her eyes is a newborn who has been deserted. It’s like both would make up for the heartache that was going on. She kills her desires and thoughts and plans to give up her life’s motives here as she plans to stay here.
How Did She Cope Up?
The baby was the reason because, with her former husband, there were infertility issues that prevented her from being a mother, and before they could sort things out, he passed away. This new place has a new lover for her too, Jack. But it isn’t the romance part that the audience is expecting. They’ve seen such harsh feelings here that it might be compelling to ask for a good ending to the story as well.
Why Did She Actually Give Up On Her Lifestyle?
Well, one thing might cross your mind simultaneously, why didn’t she walk off when she knew that it was going to be troublesome for her? Was it the baby? Was it Jack?
No, to be precise, she dealt with stress. Even though she had a great environment there, she couldn’t cope up with the loss.
