The popular American romantic drama Virgin River has surely been a hit among the population. Within days of releasing Season 3 in July, speculations for a fourth season arose. Nobody could keep calm after a season full of new twists, emerging love stories, and a whole lot of drama. What’s the Release Date?
The production of Season 4 was reported to start in July or August. And that’s what has been going on. However, it has been reported that they’ll finish the filming in November this year. And after seeing the strong fanbase of the show and the hit of season 3, Netflix might just release the premiere date soon. Our sources estimate that Netflix might release some details about the new season’s release in September 2021. Though Netflix hasn’t confirmed anything yet, we know how much Netflix loves teasing its fans.
Virgin River Season 4 Cast
All our favorites will surely continue with their character because the creators know better than to mess up with the favorite cast after leaving the audience on such a cliffhanger. Alexa Breckenridge and Martine Henderson as Mel and Jack will be back at our screens. Rising connections between Lizzy and Ricky will push Sarah Dugdale and Grayson Gurnsey up in the new season.
Colin Lawrence as Preacher, Benjamin Hollingsworth as Brady, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine, Time Matheson as Doc will continue. In addition, one of our favorite characters, Hope, played by Annette O’Toole, who was absent throughout the season, is likely to come back again in Season 4, as told by the showrunner of the series.
What could We Expect from Virgin River Season 4?
Mel confessed about her pregnancy but wasn’t sure if Jack was the father in the end scene. The new season will surely bring light to Mel’s child’s father. Charmine’s and Jack’s custody battle will also be a key in the new season. In addition, we will surely see fights between Tobb and Jack. We will also get to see Hope, possibly in recovery mode, after her car accident. Hope’s absence from season 3 caused a lot of disappointment among her fans, and thus, Hope and doc are expected to keep up in the new season.
After Lizzie finishes things off with Ricky, Ricky may leave everything and Lizzie behind and leave. Lizzie’s ex-boyfriend parker’s return might bring some unexpected turns. We will also get to see Paige after her absence. We’ll also find out the biggest mystery, who shot Jack? Was it Brady or someone else? And does Brady know something more? All in all, Season 4 will have a lot of drama and new, unexpected endings and beginnings, which is common with a show such as Virgin river.
