What Happened to Reva on Obi-Wan Kenobi?
Episode 5 was mostly dedicated to Reva where she was wounded badly by Vader as she was stabbed which kept all of us wondering whether she is dead or not but she is not dead. In episode 5, it was established for the viewers that Reva is the survivor of Anakin’s younglings slaughter.
Though things were left unclear in episode 5, episode 6 tied up the whole thing. It is revealed what has driven her to look for Obi-wan. Episode 6 of the series gives Reva closure though she couldn’t kill Luke and believed that she failed her fellow Jedi students because she couldn’t avenge them for which she was actually looking for Luke all throughout.
She showed mercy to Luke and did not become like Vader because she understood that he is just an innocent child. Reva gets the opportunity to move on and build a different life for herself which is not pushed down or made sullied by revenge or the need for it.
It was believed that Reva would die in the series but as episode 5 revealed that Vader knew all about Reva and considered her as a tool and underestimated her. This in turn became the reason for her survival.
Who is Reva?
Reva in Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the key characters of the show. She is the Great Inquisitor from Star Wars series. She is the third sister, a force-sensitive human female who was once a Jedi. She served as a member of the Inquisitor during the reign of the Galactic Empire.
Reva in the series is being played by Moses Ingram who was also seen in Netflix’s miniseries as Jolene in The Queen’s Gambit. For her role, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress. Variety even nominated her as one of the ten actors to see in 2021.
