Release Date
Halloween Kills is a sequel to Halloween, which was released in the year 2018. Halloween Kills was initially set to be released in 2020, but it got delayed because of the pandemic. They tweeted that the film will be delayed because if the film is released in the theatres, the audience’s experience will be compromised, and the creators would suffer as well.
Therefore they decided to delay the movie by one year. The film is set to be released on September 8, 2021, at the Venice film festival, and it will be released in the USA on October 15, 2021; it will also release in the UK on the same date. Unlike other films, this film will not be delayed anymore due to the pandemic or lockdown. Moreover, the fans are eager to watch Michael Myers in the movie doing what he does best: kill people, die, and reincarnate again and again.
The audience will have a fantastic experience as the film is set to be released on IMAX, followed by the statement, “We are going to have time to complete the film with the quality the fans deserve. Therefore we are sound mixing in the best quality possible that can slash, scream, and creep their way inside our skin.”
Where to Watch?
The twelfth movie of the franchise, Halloween Kills, is set to be decided on October 15, 2021, in the USA and around the world. Even though the film has been delayed by a year, it has been decided that it will get a traditional release. Nothing has been officially announced or notified about getting a digital release of the movie. There have been no rumors on the internet about the digital release of the film as well.
But the digital release usually depends on how well or poorly the movie performs on the Box Office. If it does well on the Box Office, it can be presented on the big screen for a month or two; however, if it performs poorly, it can be presented for a minimum of fifteen days.
Therefore, the digital can take place after two months of the release, and there is a high probability, it will be released either on Amazon Prime Video or on Netflix because these are the only two streaming platforms that are renowned and avail their streaming services in a majority of the countries around the world.
However, these are just the assumption of a number of people, and the fans should not get their hopes up just yet, and they should watch the movie in the theatre if they do not want to wait for an uncertain period of time.
