What Do We Know About The Movie?
The movie is set in the Christmas season, and on the day of Christmas, a little baby from the orphanage gets inside Santa’s bag unknowingly and is carried away to the North Pole. After they find out about the child in a local workshop, the elves who were working there adopt him and name him Buddy. Buddy is welcomed wholeheartedly by the entire elf community, and that’s why he thinks that he’s an elf too.
But it takes some time for him to actually know that he’s not an elf but a human. Papa elf informs him about his parents Walter Hobbs and Susan Wells, who set him up for adoption before she passed away. Walter is an established children’s book publisher and doesn’t know about his son, Buddy. Santa tells him that Walter is the one who adorns his naughty one’s list, but Buddy wishes to help him redeem that.
Buddy Goes To Find Walter
Buddy travels to New York so that he can meet Walter at his workplace, but Walter doesn’t recognize him and thinks that he’s a Christmas messenger and gets him removed from there.
Buddy goes out and meets Jovie, who is a very lazy employee at the Gimbels store, and he immediately falls for her too. And since he heard about the arrival of Santa that day in the store, Buddy sets to decorate the place but later gets to know that Gimbels Santa isn’t exactly a true thing. And that’s how Buddy gets arrested.
Walter Gets Buddy Out From There
Very luckily, Walter comes to rescue buddy and then he goes in for a DNA test which proves that Buddy belongs to him! Buddy is indeed Walter’s son! The doctor suggests that Walter should take Buddy with himself and meet his stepmom Emily and stepbrother Michael.
