Marc Lawrence directed and wrote Noelle, which is about Santa’s daughter of the same name (Kendrick). Nick (Hader), Noelle’s brother, is intended to join the new company. But when Santa gets cold feet and travels up to Phoenix, Arizona, it’s up to this feisty North Pole gal to preserve Christmas. Is she up to the task? Here’s how to figure it out.
Where to Watch
Tragically, this sort of Christmas cheer isn’t available on Netflix. Noelle is a Disney+ original, which means you can only see it on that platform. Unfortunately, Hulu’s availability is also a drawback. Noelle is not available on Hulu. However, there is a way to see this film online.
This Christmas journey is exclusively available on Disney+ because it is a Disney+ original. It’s also rather simple to gain access to that streaming service. Disney+ is now offered to subscribers for $6.99 a month or $69.99 for a year.
The Cast
We appreciate your desire to see this Christmas journey because the cast appears to be amazing. Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader appear as Santa’s children in the movie. Shirley MacLaine, Billy Eichner, Julie Hagerty, and Ron Funches also appear in the film. With Marc Lawrence as the Director chair and Suzanne Todd as the producer, it is well crafted.
The Plot
Kris Kringle’s daughter is filled with Christmas enthusiasm and holiday joy. Still, she hopes she can do something “serious” like her loving brother Nick, who will succeed their father this holiday season. Nick is attempting to become Santa Claus, but he is failing badly. He slams into the sleigh. He has no idea what is wicked and what is pleasant. He is illiterate in all languages but his own.
Things that are expected to arrive effortlessly to Santa don’t seem to come readily to Nick. Noelle recommends Nick take a vacation and get outside to reset his thoughts when he’s about to shatter like a cookie under pressure…but he never returns. Mrs. Kringle must ramp up to rein in Cousin Gabe, the hi-tech replacement Santa after his sudden absence causes mayhem in the North Pole.
Elsewhere, Noelle and Elf Polly, the family’s abrasive but sweet nanny, take the carriage and reindeer and set out to find her brother in time that would save Christmas. It’s a lookup expedition, and it’s during this time, Noelle discovers the real spirit of Christmas. She discovers that her father’s name isn’t the only thing they have in common.
