Better Call Saul is a spin-off of the popular Crime Drama TV Series Breaking Bad. This show acts as both a prequel and sequel to the original show. Better Call Saul follows the life of James McGill AKA Saul Goodman.
This former con-man decided to turn his life around and leave his old ways. Even though he was done with his old life, his old life wasn’t done with him. James who is now an attorney soon got frustrated with how low he was getting paid less for more work.
In Breaking Bad James aka Saul is already an accomplished lawyer with his hands in everything from money laundering to guns for hire. The show also offers a peek into the life of Mike Ermentrout retired policeman struggling to provide for his son’s widow and granddaughter.
Even though Mike and James weren’t always on the best of terms, they settle their differences and starts helping each other out in times of need. Developing a unique acquaintanceship.

About Breaking Bad
The story follows the life of Walter White. He used to have a boring life and was stuck on a dead-end job teaching Highschool Chemistry. His whole world was turned upside down when he collapsed one day. After testing it was found that he has 3rd stage bone cancer.
Now he feels deep remorse because he has nothing to leave his family with after his death. Walter joins forces with one of his old students and starts using his vast knowledge in Chemistry to make Crystal Meth. He has a few shortcomings at first but as time goes on, he makes a name for himself as the meth he makes is the best.
The Aftermath
He soon starts making more money than he knows what to do with. That is when James McGill / Saul Goodman comes in. He helps Walter set up a money-laundering operation with a Car Wash as a front. Walter who once used to cook meth in an RV soon grows into having a giant factory making several million dollars worth of drugs every day.
As they say, all good things come to an end and Walter’s Cancer ultimately returns. As the last stand, he leaves a substantial amount of money for his family and then saves his partner Jesse from a rival gang killing himself in the process.
