F9 or the Fast and Furious 9, directed by Justin Lin, is an American Action film released in 2021. Made as a sequel to the Fate of the Furious released in 2019, F9 is the ninth film of the infamous Fast and Furious Saga. The film has an all-star cast with Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, Charlize Theron, Jordana Brewster, Kurt Russel, Hellen Mirren, and Michael Rooker. The film revolves around Dominic Toretto and the team who come together to stop Dominic’s brother Jackob’s devious plan that threatens the world.

F9 was premiered internationally on April 19, 2021, in South Korea, and the US on June 25, 2021. The film is released theatrically but had a limited audience due to the ongoing Covid 19 Crisis the world is in. The film had several changes in the release dates from 2019 to 2021, before being released finally in April 2021 due to the releases of films like No Time to Die and Hobbs and Shaw, along with the occurrence of the Covid- 19 pandemic. The film was released theatrically across different countries like the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, China and Russia.
F9 will be released on 4K UHD, DVD and Blue Ray on September 21, 2021, to reach a more global audience. The film was also available across digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, etc., from July 30, 2021. Vin Diesel, in an interview, said that he wants the tenth instalment of the Fast and Furious Franchise to be split into two parts.
