When uncertainties of life take away hopes and dreams from two young people after fifteen years of prison, Wayland sees the sight of his life before in Dolores, his high school sweetheart. When Wayland and Dolores’s eyes cross, they are taken aback to a completely different lifetime zone when they watch sunsets and oceans together with their dreamy eyes in love. They realize how much life has changed, and today, they are not what they wanted to be.
Dolores is a single mother of three children Dodger, Denim, and Periwinkle. She works as a maid in a cheap motel. Now when Wayland and Dolores are brought back together again, they struggle every day to sustain themselves. Wayland takes a low-paying job, but their economic instability challenges them to have food on the table for their children every day. There are emotions, frustrations, and uncertainties.
