New Year’s Eve is an American film that was released a decade ago, in 2011. The film falls under the genre of romantic drama, having a lot of comic scenes included. It is penned by Katherine Fugate and fabricated by Mike Karz, Wayne Allan Rice and Garry Marshall under the direction of Garry Marshall.
The production companies behind this iconic film are New Line Cinema, Wayne Rice Films and Karz Entertainment and were distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film is an intriguing one since it does not portray a single story but several ones with several characters. They all, however, are linked up with one another.
Is it Streaming on Netflix, Prime, Hulu, HBO Max or Disney+?
People were waiting to bid goodbye to this year on a cheerful note and hoped to see this dramatic movie on Netflix. But oops. It seems that their waiting was quite a waste since this film is in no way being available to be streamed on Netflix. But if you still want to watch the movie, you can stream it on HBO Max or other paid apps like Amazon Prime, Vudu, YouTube, Apple TV, and Google Play.

Plot
There are several plots and stories accompanied by different characters; it’s hard to make it brief and convey it to the audience. The story starts with Claire Morgan and Brendan, who are busy doing their work. Then comes Ingrid Withers, who has recently left her job and is seen to be giving Paul Doyle, passes to enter the Ball, but she also has terms of her own that must be fulfilled by Paul first to get the pass.
There will be ample characters with their respective stories, but in the end, it becomes quite relevant that Paul and Ingrid are the two main characters, and the rest might have been omitted or at least given a better angle.
Should You Watch It?
The movie consists of plots more than needed that have made it quite confusing, dull and boring. Not all characters are relevant, and neither does they help to make the whole movie interesting. There is an ample number of stars, but since the overall story lacks an essence, all of them seem to have failed to make the movie all more interesting.
As the name suggests, New Year’s Eve is quite the right time since this year is also on its verge of ending and being a family movie full of laughter, choosing to watch it won’t be that bad.
