So they decided to greenlight two other episodes in the season, so season 1 has 15 episodes.
Season 2 was renewed in March 2021.

What Is The Show About?
In the TV Show, Superman and Lois represent DC’s iconic characters in a never seen from before. Parents in their middle age raising kids, Clark Kent (Superman) along with his wife Lois Lane, comes back to Smallville where Clark’s childhood town, to increase their teenage boys. This is a change for them as Superman was fighting super villains all his life, and Lois worked hard for herself to become a better journalist.
The TV Show depicts a couple dealing with typical problems of being a parent. However, they also grapple with the chance that their two teenage boys, Jordan and Jonathon, have Clark’s superpowers.
Clark and Lois also revive their old friendships with Lana Lang, Kent’s former flame, and Kyle Cushing, her husband, and talk about their pasts.
Still, Clark’s superman days are not entirely gone as a mysterious villain, Steel, aka John Henry Irons, appears in Smallville.
