The filming of this masterpiece was in a location near the north of Los Angeles in Canyon Country. At that time, this particular place was under construction. So it was easy for them to shoot the house erecting part. The most challenging part was destroying it with popcorn.
It is one of the locations not easy to go with, but the difficulties make the film more watchable.
