Zack’s 2004 movie and its remake, Dawn of the Dead, picked up the great success route, but then that’s not where we would like to stop. Army of the Dead debuted in May, and it was soon amongst the most streamed films.
Dave Bautista, who took up the role of Scott Ward, who served as the military specialist earlier, is leading a team of mercenaries to a land filled with zombies in Las Vegas, and they’re going there to bring out $ 200 million from a casino before the place is destroyed.
What To Expect From Planet Of The Dead
Snyder received a lot of appreciation as a director when he worked on remaking the 2004 movie Dawn of the dead. And now that he has seen how successful Army of the Dead proved to be, he’s in no doubt to go ahead with bringing in more zombie entries in the upcoming movies.
As we know that the place was filled with zombies, and though the city was not completely destroyed, the money had to be taken away.
Vanderhoe’s Infection
Vanderhoe has carried the infection which he got because of the bite from Zeus. He went to Mexico with this infection unknowingly. Zeus was dead, but then Vanderhoe had been bitten by him but, Vanderhoe was also very respected by Zeus, so maybe the bite wasn’t the one we’re anticipating. Maybe it’s the one that doesn’t let the other person turn into a zombie. So maybe that bite wasn’t lethal as we imagine it to be.
And Vanderhoe does carry the pathogen from Vegas, and by doing so, he has given way to numerous possibilities for Snyder.
Cast For Planet Of Dead
You won’t be seeing most of the cast here that you saw in Army of the dead. We know that Scott’s daughter Kate did make it out of Vegas, but we do not know where exactly she went or what were her immediate plans if the choppers picked her up. So we can expect her to be here. And since Vanderhoe has the pathogen so he might be seen here, and Dieter too.
And what makes it more interesting is to see how dieter would be when the safe door was shut down on him. Was he killed after that by Zeus? Any possible way for him to survive? Because we did not see him die in the camera so that might raise just a lot of questions.
Release Date For Planet Of The Dead
Snyder has been taking up a lot of new projects, and there’s no stopping for him now she amidst so much, there’s no news about the coming of this movie. No dates have been confirmed so far.
With the news about the rebel moon to come somewhere near 2023, we don’t think that the progress for the planet of the dead has been initiated or not. So it would be safe to guess that this movie might be some years away from being brought here to our screens.
