12 Dates of Christmas is a holiday-themed reality web television series on love and dating. The show follows three singles and their pursuit of finding love. The singles will meet their new potential partners and go on the 12 dates as mentioned in the title to finally find someone compatible and bring them home to their families during the holidays.

The first episode of season 1 was released on November 26, 2020, on HBO Max’s streaming platform. Michael Beilinson is the creator of the show, with Sam Dean serving as the showrunner. Even though being quite popular among the fans, the reality show currently holds an IMDb rating of 5.8.

Up till now, two episodes of HBO Max’s show have been released. In the episode, the viewers meet the three leads, Amanda Grace Jenkins, Markelle Smith, and Danny Escalante, who are looking for a perfect partner to bring home over the holidays and meet their families. The three leads escape to a winter wonderland to find their dates or ‘holidates.’

Amanda Grace wants a girl with a naughty side, Markelle is searching for a person with whom he can feel the spark, and Danny is searching for a partner to settle down with. They will go on to 12 dates mentioned in the show’s title with their potential partners and choose one to bring home to meet the family. 12 Dates of Christmas has taken inspiration from Christmas rom-com. The positive thing about the show is that the production is not shying away from diversity.

12 Dates of Christmas Season 2 will premiere on the streaming platform HBO Max on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 25, 2021. According to the premise, the show promises drama as finding love for the leads would not be easy for them. The leads will find their perfect someone.

Their partner has to be special enough to bring home for the holidays and meet the families of the leads. With drama, season 2 of 12 Dates of Christmas also promises romance and surprises.

Season 2 of 12 Dates of Christmas will follow three leads, Amanda Grace Jenkins, a former hairstylist who identifies herself as a lesbian; Markelle Smith, a gay dentist, and a self-proclaimed mistletoe expert; and finally, Danny Escalante, a software engineer. All three of the individuals are looking for the partner of their dreams. Natasha Rothwell narrates the series. Sam Dean is the showrunner with Michael Beilinson as the creator of the HBO Max show.

The 2nd season of the American reality web television series, 12 Dates of Christmas has released on the streaming platform HBO Max on November 25, 2021.
