The American telly series 13 Reasons Why draws its inspiration from Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why and first aired in 2017. Joseph Incapreraand fabricated the series got into several controversies within a short span of time. The series also tried to compete with an ongoing series named Riverdale but somehow lacked the essence to attract fans thoroughly.
However, the series developed itself in the course of time, and from a mere teen drama, it evolved as a psychological thriller series. The series depicts suicides, rapes, and murders. Still, each story is different from one another and has been highly praised for being portrayed so well as well as criticized since it dealt with serious issues openly and quite bitterly.

Storyline

Amid all praises and controversies, 13 Reasons Why has successfully paved its way and impacted its fans. The final season depicted how people are changed and how lives appear to be almost the opposite one thinks of it. The gradual development of the characters was indeed a lot to absorb and more than merry moments, and the series consists of psychological issues with which almost everyone can relate.
The season depicts how the time has come to say goodbye to the teens as they embark on a new journey in their lives. Season 4 depicted how the prom night was annulled and how the teenagers cleared themselves of any charges or misbelieves, and Clay Jensen came out to be the sole person behind the school mischief. The happiest part was how Charlie St. George got the courage to confess that he is bisexual in front of his dad.
It is also witnessed that Alex Standall saw Charlie and became the king in the prom, which was held later. But amid all these merry moments, fans also witnessed a shocking incident. It’s time to say goodbye to Justin, who was revealed to be having AIDS and was taking drugs. Jessica ultimately confessed her love for him, but it was indeed too late. Justin’s death impacted almost everyone, including the characters and the audience but definitely provided a major impact on the entire series and was successful in making the series a hit.
