Recap of 911 Season 5 Episode 4
911 Season 5 Episode 4 was released on October 11, 2021. The title of this episode was Home and Away. In the beginning of the episode, we see Chimney repeatedly watching Maddie’s video so that he can figure out what she was trying to convey to him. Buck comes and tries to assure him that Maddie will come back soon. Harry’s therapist discusses with Athena and Michael regarding their son. She asks Athena to bring him back home.
Claudette is back at the 911 dispatch. May doesn’t like her much as Claudette was joking around with her during their first meeting. This surely didn’t go well with May. There happens to be a bad incident at a high school parade. A truck hits into the crowd leaving many injured. Paramedics come and start rescuing the injured. Things take a bad turn when a hazardous gas leaks from that truck.
It is advised by dispatch callers and paramedics that the area should be cleared immediately. Makayla’s friend Cassie is dead due to the incident. When Makayla’s parents reach the hospital, they are shattered to hear the news about the death of Cassie. However, when Cassie’s parents reach the hospital to identify the body then, they say it is Makayla and not Cassie.
Wilson reaches Makayla’s parents after learning about her death. She told the parents about it, and they were left completely broke. We see Athena looking at the family photo that she found under the bed. Chimney confesses to Buck that Maddie felt that she was not able to control her daughter as this made her feel that she is not safe with her. But, he then realizes that Buck knew about it all along.
This made him feel very angry, and in that burst of anger, he punches Buck. Athena is crying before Robert, thinking that she might not be able to succeed in bringing Harry back home. Chim leaves with his daughter to find Maddie.
