One of the core elements behind the 2005 cartoon “Ben 10” was the idea that 10-year-old Ben Tennyson would be transformed into an alien using a technology called “Omnitrix. ” These devices, like those on wristbands, contain the genetics of dozens of alien species that Ben could infuse with himself to temporarily become the species and use their unique powers as weapons against evil.
However, after the release of the original TV series, the series has evolved beyond the classic 10-Alien characters with which the show began.
Ben 10 is an excellent success for Cartoon Network and Man Of Action. The show featured Ben Tennyson, whose encounter with an alien device reveals that he can change his mind into ten different alien species.
Whatever character flaw the series had was not lacking in creativity. The story was one of the more original superheroes, and all the artwork was alien-inspired. Ben’s transformations into aliens are incredible, but some are more effective.
We would look upon 20 aliens featured in the series and find which is Ben’s most muscular alien. We will classify the cool alien, the fans’ favorite alien, the most potent alien, Ben’s most muscular alien, the original alien, the best alien, and his favorite alien from this list. This article will also discuss the ultimate form of all of Ben’s aliens.
20. Blitzwolfer
- Species: Lobo
- Home World: Luna Lobo
- Body: Wolf
- Abilities: Sonic Howls, Enhanced Smelling and Hearing, Sharp Claws/Teeth, Enhanced Agility
- Voice Actor: Kevin Michael Richardson
- First Appearance: Benwolf
Blitzwolfer has become the Ben 10 equivalent of the werewolf universe following a series of horror classics. With unusual smells and sounds combined with excellent night visibility, he’s incredibly good at hunting and tracking. This combination is ideal for improved agility for a catch-up against prey and has a highly prehensile tail.
Blitzwolfer also emits an ultrasonic howl, used defensively to reduce projectile or offensively to cripple enemies. He can use the uproar to raise his head and add to the mobility kit. His mighty blade blades and claws can penetrate even the strongest metals.
19. Diamondhead
- Species: Petrosapien
- Home World: Petrolia
- Body: Crystalline Humanoid
- Abilities: Crystallokinesis, Weapon Manifestation, Regeneration, Energy Refraction, Time Ray Immunity, Acid Immunity, Heat Resistance, Space Survivability
- Voice Actor: Jim Ward (Original Series), Vanessa Marshall (Gwen), Daran Norris (Race Against Time), Dee Bradley Baker (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien), Ashley Johnson (Gwen Prime), Eric Bauza (Omniverse), Tara Strong (Gwen 10)
- First Appearance: And Then There Were 10
In the original film, Diamondhead made simple but memorable aliens. Possibly the biggest surprise for the viewers was its ability to create them in a simple but memorable way. He is surrounded by pale green crystals that can change shape freely.
He can use many different weapons to attack, protect and defend himself. The Diamondhead can also take out Crystal shards and use this to get a lethal weapon at a distance.
He builds crystals and sifts through his battlefields with potentially-sized projectiles and covers. He is highly durable and absorbs pure energy, and carries laser beams away from him.
18. Juryrigg
- Species: Planchaküle
- Home World: Aul-Turrhen
- Body: Gremlin
- Abilities: Mechanical Intuition, Technological Disassembly, Wall Climbing, Enhanced Agility
- Equipment: Goggles (Omniverse)
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker (Ultimate Alien), Bumper Robinson (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: The Eggman Cometh
Utilizing alien DNA cannot only influence physical traits but can also affect psychological traits! A fascinating way to do that is to use a foreigner called Juryrigg.
These aliens are essentially Gremlin-like creatures. He is driven by a burning urge to disassemble technology and transform it into various things like gadget parts for use.
This habit carries intelligence for such acts, and he takes every chance to interfere with machinery. Although he prefers to remove everything, he’s equally capable of making something, even if these tend to be “jury-rigged.”
17. Swampfire
- Species: Methanosian
- Home World: Methanol
- Body: Humanoid Plant
- Abilities: Chlorokinesis, Methane Generation
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker, David Kaye (Omniverse 2)
- First Appearance: Ben 10 Returns: Part 1
Something that often occurred during the switch from the original series to Ben 10: Alien Force was alien species similar to the ones found in the original series but also had unique abilities.
The best examples are the introductions by Swamp Fire, who initially looks like Heatblast from the initial series in their ability to project fire at each other’s side.
However, Swampfire’s abilities expand as his ability revolves around vegetation. Swampfire can also restore a person’s missing limbs by resolving their problems through chloropoidolysis.
16. Rath
- Species: Appoplexian
- Home World: Appoplexia
- Body: Humanoid Tiger
- Abilities: Quadrupedalism, Wall Scaling, Wrestling Proficiency, Shock Waves, Powerful Roar
- Voice Actor: John DiMaggio, Jeff Bennett (Azmuth), Ashley Johnson (Gwen)
- First Appearance: Con of Rath
Rath maybe Ben’s most memorable alien due partly to his voice being that of famous voice actor DiMaggio. It is an anthropomorphic DNA sample from Appoplexians, which resembles a bipedal ostrich tiger. Rath has not only great strength but also has large retractable claws at each wrist. The feet are sharp, so it proliferates.
He possesses one aspect that he considers his most valuable weapon but his most muscular weakness: his unsurpassed aggression. Rath has little fear of anything and usually will tackle any enemy unless he can overcome them.
15. Ampfibian
- Species: Amperi
- Home World: Telos
- Body: Humanoid Jellyfish
- Abilities: Flight, Intangibility, Circuitry Travel, Energy Shield
- Voice Actor: Yuri Lowenthal (Fused and Omniverse), Dee Bradley Baker (Ultimate Alien), Greg Cipes (Kevin)
- First Appearance: Fused
It’s easiest to describe amphibians in comparison to jellyfish. He absorbs electricity, which is then discharged from his extendable tentacles.
Ampfibian can generate energy in his own right; therefore, his strength does not depend solely on absorbing the attack of his enemies.
He breathes underwater and has unique swimming abilities. Ampfibian has also become invisible, which, combined with his flying ability, makes him an impossible target to hit. It can detect the brain’s electrical pulses by monitoring the brain.
14. Whampire
- Species: Vlada
- Home World: Anur Vladis, Anur Transit
- Body: Humanoid Vampire
- Abilities: Hypnosis, Hypnosis Resistance, Corruptura, Projectiles
- Voice Actor: John DiMaggio
- First Appearance: The Vampire Strikes Back
The first alien on the list resembled vampire fiction which was popular with Bram Stoker in 1897. This Vampire is a member of Vladat, and the ability to fight is similar. His hypnotizers can control his enemies with corruptors, small brain control animals created by Vladat and positioned on their enemies.
Vampires can even utilize the energy of the life forms by sucking on them, similar to tales where vampire blood has kept their vitality.
13. Humungousaur
- Species: Vaxasaurian
- Home World: Terrano
- Body: Humanoid Dinosaur
- Abilities: Quadrupedalism, Powerful Roar, Powerful Tail, Strong Teeth, Sonic Clap, Shock Waves, Earthquake Generation
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien), Fred Tatasciore (Punch Time Explosion and Punch Time Explosion XL), Ashley Johnson (Gwen), John DiMaggio (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: Ben 10 Returns: Part 2
Humungousaur appears in many different films throughout Ben 10: Alien Force. Humungusaur has power ranging up to 60 feet which can increase strength. Its hide has armor and allows Ben to take more hits than other alien aliens.
He is strong enough to create a shock wave by clapping his hands together. The advantages of Humungousaur prove that the simplicity of the design can be beneficial.
12. Grey Matter
- Species: Galvan
- Home World: Galvan Prime
- Body: Humanoid Frog
- Abilities: Enhanced Intelligence, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Flexibility, Enhanced Jumping, Wall Crawling, Sharp Teeth, Slippery Body, Underwater Breathing, Prehensile Tongue, Small Space Maneuvering
- Voice Actor: Richard Horvitz (Original Series), Kari Wahlgren (Gwen), Carlos Alazraqui (Race Against Time), Eric Bauza (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: Washington B.C.
Ben wasn’t a model of maturity and strategy when he was ten. His least favorite Omnitrix alien is Grey Matter. These forms were derived from Omnitrix sampled from the Galvans, a six-inch-high physically feeble creature with super-intelligence.
He can breathe underwater. The Galvanists Azmuth and the Omnitrix were the creators, and it became evident. The alien’s intelligence helped him out a great deal. Ben’s son uses Grey Matter’s intelligence as his own Omnitrix.
11. Heatblast
- Species: Pyrite
- Home World: Pyros
- Body: Fiery Humanoid
- Abilities: Pyrokinesis, Fire Absorption, Fire Breath, Fire Surfing, Heat Generation, Heat Absorption
- Voice Actor: Steve Blum (Original Series), Charlie Schlatter (Kevin), Grey DeLisle (Gwen), David Franklin (Race Against Time), Dee Bradley Baker (Ultimate Alien), David Kaye (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: And then there were 10
Ben first became a Heatblast during the series premieres when finding his Omnitrix. The Omnitrix samples from Pyronites and Heatblast were living magmas. The gunman also lived up to his name by generating fire around the body from all angles.
His “Phyroxinissis” gave the pilot the freedom to fly with explosive force. The only problem with the resulting form is that he can no longer control its heat, making him perfect.
Its Omniverse design is much better than the series’ other aliens.
10. Stinkflies
- Species: Lepidopteran
- Home World: Lepidoptera
- Body: Winged Insectoid
- Abilities: Flight, Slime Projectiles, Slime Spit, Methane Gas, Herbicide Projection, Sharp Claws, Sharp Tail, 360° Vision, Wall Scaling
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker, Charlie Schlatter (Kevin)
- First Appearance: Washington B.C.
Stinkfly is a Lepidopteran who has joined Wildmutt for a win in the competition… However, Stinkfly had other advantages and a chance to win. He could speak humanly, though Ben’s voice did appear disorganized.
Even good as his name suggests, he can go flying, which makes it more valuable than Ripjaw’s. His delicate insectoids left him weak physically, but his quick and effective shooting skills compensated for it.
9. Four Arms
- Species: Tetramand
- Home World: Khoros
- Body: Four-armed Humanoid
- Abilities: Strong/Sharp Teeth, Sonic Clap, Shock Waves, Earthquake Generation, Wall Climbing, Heat Resistance
- Voice Actor: Richard McGonagle (Original Series), Steve Blum (4 years old), Charlie Schlatter (Kevin), Vanessa Marshall (Gwen), Dee Bradley Baker (Ultimate Alien), John DiMaggio (Omniverse and 10-year-old Ben in Ultimate Alien), Fred Tatasciore (Punch Time Explosion XL)
- First Appearance: Washington B.C.
As Ben disapproved of Gray Matter, he also loved Four Arms — the most diminutive creative name and obnoxious human alien. The four arms were 12 feet tall and more robust and agile than any human because of their large size.
Although his skill helped fight four-armed men who were the most generic alien, many strengths of his character have been discarded in other lineups.
8. Wildmutt
- Species: Vulpimancer
- Home World: Vulpin
- Body: Animalistic
- Abilities: Enhanced Smelling, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Dexterity, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Acrobatics, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Hearing, Enhanced Digging, Enhanced Speed, Enhanced Jumping, Enhanced Reflexes, Enhanced Tracking, Quadrupedalism, Bipedalism, Sharp Teeth, Sharp Claws, Prehensile Feet, Wall Climbing, Quill Projection, Sightless Sensing, Invisibility Sight, Nightmarish Face Immunity
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker, Tara Strong (dream in Ghostfreaked Out), Greg Cipes (Kevin)
- First Appearance: And then there were 10
Wildmutt transformations were the animals. It was an Omnitrix sample taken from a VULpimancer, an eyeless doglike animal with porcupine quills.
Although appearing differently, Wildmut’s greatest strength was his improved senses. Beyond this, his speech ability was ineffective, and his superhuman strength was also redundant compared to others on Bens’s list.
7. Ripjaws
- Species: Piscciss Volan
- Home World: Piscciss
- Body: Humanoid Anglerfish
- Abilities: Underwater Breathing, Underwater Vortex Generation, Tail Formation, Speed Swimming
- Voice Actor: Fred Tatasciore (Original Series), Eric Bauza (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: The Krakken
Ripjaws are aquatic aliens whose designs resemble humanoid fish. During the sea, his body turned into a mermaid-shaped tail. Ripjaw is arguably the most fearsome alien design on the show and carries some significant limitations.
For example, his gills would die from water over time – he was so useless in water. Of course, this is no surprise since he became the lesser-used alien even after being one of the best aliens.
6. Ghost freak
- Species: Ectonurite
- Home World: Anur Phaetos
- Body: Ghost
- Abilities: Flight, Levitation, Deformation, Density Shifting, Smoke Mimicry, Instant Regeneration, Body Possession, Invisibility
- Voice Actor: Steve Blum (Original Series and Omniverse), Jeff Bennett (Alien Force and Ultimate Alien)
- First Appearance: Permanent Retirement
Ghostfreak is a strange alien from Omnitrix and quite valuable. His powers entail invisibility, intangibility, and the ability to possess another person. However, the episode of Ghostfreaking Out was the biggest drawback to any Ben alien.
Zsskayr was the ectonicurite for whom the genetics were taken for Ghostfreak. He remained conscious in Omnitrix but escaped. When Ben had his way, he grew to become the most famous enemy he had ever had.
5. Upgrade
- Species: Galvanic Mechamorph
- Home World: Galvan B
- Body: Technological Humanoid
- Abilities: Technokinesis, Optic Laser, Technological Possession, Technological Enhancement, Technological Repairment, Electrokinesis, Electroporation, Regeneration, Body Alteration, Size Alteration, Arm Extension, Weapon Mimicry, Tentacles, Elasticity, Space Survivability, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Flexibility, Light Generation
- Voice Actor: Tara Strong (10 and 11-year-old), Charlie Schlatter (Kevin), Paul Eiding (Max), Yuri Lowenthal (16-year-old)
- First Appearance: Permanent Retirement
The upgrade is one of the aliens that Ben 10 can transform into. An upgrade is a silicon-based life form; his body is composed of pure energy.
He can merge with technology and control it. He can also shoot powerful energy blasts from his hands. The upgrade is a powerful alien, one of the most valuable aliens Ben 10 has at his disposal.
4. XLR8
- Species: Kineceleran
- Home World: Kinet
- Body: Humanoid Velociraptor
- Abilities: Enhanced Speed, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Stamina, Enhanced Jumping, Enhanced Reflexes, Enhanced Recovery, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Dexterity, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Directionality, Accelerated Thinking, Sharp Claws, Wall and Water Running, Prehensile Tail, Vortex Creation
- Voice Actor: Jim Ward (Original Series), Yuri Lowenthal (Omniverse), Ashley Johnson (Gwen 10)
- First Appearance: And then there were 10
Ben 10 Alien XLR8 is one of the fastest and most agile aliens in the Ben 10 universe. He can run at speeds of up to Mach 10 and has enhanced reflexes and agility. He also has razor-sharp claws that can slice through almost anything.
XLR8 is an excellent choice for any mission that requires speed and agility. He is also one of the few aliens that can go toe-to-toe with Vilgax and Zombozo.
3. Big Chill
- Species: Necrofriggian
- Home World: Kylmyys
- Body: Humanoid Moth
- Abilities: Cryokinesis, Ice Breath, Wind Breath, Freezing Touch
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker
- First Appearance: Kevin’s Big score
Big Chill is an alien from the Ben 10 franchise. He made his debut in the episode “Frozen,” where he was one of the aliens used by Ben to battle Zombozo and his henchmen. Big Chill can fly, turn invisible, and freeze things using fire blasts of cold air from his mouth. He can also create ice clones of himself.
In “Frozen,” Big Chill is weak against heat, as he is quickly defeated when Zombozo blasts him with a fireball. Big Chill is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in the original series, by Andrew Francis in Ben 10: Alien Force, and by David Kaye in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien.
2. EyeGuy
- Species: Opticoid
- Home World: Sitra
- Body: Humanoid
- Abilities: Mátikinesis, Movable Eyes, Eye Merging, Elastic Chest Eye, Energy Beams, Electrical Beams, Freeze Rays, Fire Blasts
- Voice Actor: Dee Bradley Baker (Original Series), Paul Eiding (Omniverse)
- First Appearance: Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix
Eye Guy is a Ben 10 alien who can shoot powerful beams from his eyes. He is one of the more powerful aliens in the Ben 10 universe and has been a valuable asset to the team on many occasions.
Eye Guy’s greatest strength is his eye beams, which are among the most powerful in the Ben 10 universe. He can use them to cut through almost anything, including metal and stone. They are also very accurate, making him a dangerous opponent even at long range.
In addition to his eye beams, Eye Guy also has enhanced strength and durability. He can easily lift cars and other large objects and is almost impossible to hurt with conventional weapons.
His only weakness is that he is vulnerable to bright lights, which can temporarily blind him and render him helpless.
Yet, despite his great power, Eye Guy is a kind and gentle alien. He is always ready to help his friends and fight for justice. He is a true hero and will always be there to protect those who need him.
1. Atomix
- Species: Unknown
- Home World: Unknown
- Body: Robotic Humanoid
- Abilities: Atomkinesis, Nucleokinesis, Radiokinesis, Ergokinesis, Photokinesis, Chemical Generation, Heat Generation, Space Survivability, Flight, Jet Feet, Sharp Shoulder Blades, Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Speed (via Flight)
- Voice Actor: John DiMaggio
- First Appearance: For a few brains, more
Atomix is the Omnitrix’s DNA sample of an unknown species from an unknown planet. It was one of the first ten aliens that Ben 10,000 unlocked on the Omnitrix. Atomix’s pod was located in a desert region on Earth. Atomix is a humanoid alien made entirely of red energy with a black outline. He has no eyes, and his mouth is always seen zipped shut. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Atomix can create and control red energy in various ways, such as blasts, waves, spheres, etc. He can also absorb energy and use it to boost his power. Atomix can fly by enveloping himself in a sphere of energy. Atomix can phase through solid matter by turning his body into energy.
It can merge with electronic equipment and control it. Its biggest weakness is that if a strong enough blast of power hits Atomix, he will be knocked unconscious. Atomix cannot phase through organic matter.
Ben 10,000 used Atomix to battle Vilgax when he attacked Earth in the future. Atomix could hold his own against Vilgax but was eventually defeated when Vilgax absorbed too much of his energy. Finally, however, Atomix could overload Vilgax with fuel, causing him to explode.
