American Rust is a TV series and is based on a novel by Philipp Meyer. Dan Futterman created the show, and it was released on Showtime on September 12, 2021. The show is set in a small town in Pennsylvania. Del Harris, the chief of police, is seen investigating the accusation of murder of his lover’s son.
USA Network ordered the TV adaptation of American Rust in November 2017. The first episode of the series was written by Lee Shipman, Brian McGreevy, and Philipp Meyer. In January 2018, the series had a hard time finding the lead actor and then was removed. Later, Showtime endorsed the show, and Jeff Daniels played the role of Harris. Daniel Futterman wrote the show. Both individuals are also the executive producers of the show.

Episode 9 or Finale of American Rust will be released on November 7, 2021, on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET. The first season of the show has nine episodes, and new episodes come every Sunday.

Recap of Episode 8 of American Rust
The eighth episode of American Rust is titled St. Sebastian. In this episode, we saw Grace delivering a speech regarding the unity of her co-workers. In the voting process, only 30% of votes went in Grace’s favor. Isaac lives with Nate for a brief period of time in Nebraska. They both fall in love, and Isaac confesses about his complicated family. Upon learning about Billy’s arrest, he heads back to Buell. Billy is instructed to murder the guard by the Aryans.
So, at the allotted time, he attacks them, but his actions take a toll on him. He is confined alone. Later on, upon meeting Rachel, he comes to know that Lee is also there. He denies giving Rachel any information about the incidents of the mill, and she is fired. The whereabouts of Bobby Jesus are learned through a tracker which was put under the care of Jackson. Grace and Harris move in together after she burns her trailer.
Expected Plot of American Rust Finale
The show’s final episode is titled Denmark, which will show Isaac heading back to his home to receive his punishment for his role in the death of Novick. Harris will be seen in a conversation with Jackson. Billy’s life won’t be good in prison, and once he gets out of there, it won’t be easy for him to survive because the Aryans are after him.
Lee will have to make a decision and live with it for her entire life. She, along with Henry, will probably unite with Issac and try to stop him.
