The Japanese Anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations started in 2017 will soon mark its end. The series has been adapted from the manga series that goes by the same name. Boruto acts as a sequel to Naruto. The series will mark the end of its first season after the release of five more episodes.
The series highlights the life of Boruto, and he is the child of Naruto. His friends from the Ninja Academy accompany Boruto. The series shows how Boruto is determined to be the greatest Ninja of all time alongside his friends Sarada and Mitsuki.
Release Date
The anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is going to release season 1, episode 222 of the series, on October 31, 2021, as announced by the officials. Every new episode is released once per week. Episode 222 of the series will be released on the upcoming Sunday. Episode 222 of the series is titled “The Night Before The Final Round.”

Recap of Episode 221
Episode 221 of the series was titled “The Chunin Exams Resume.” In this episode, we got to see that the students of the village and the neighboring villages had to undergo the Chunin test. We see that Boruto doesn’t seem confident if he will pass the test or not. While attempting the test, he notices a lot of the students are copying the answers except him.
We get to see that Boruto thinks that Denki will excel in the test, and he was genuinely happy for him. At the same time, Denki realizes that he lacks Ninjutsu. Later on, we get to see that teams 7 and 5 both passed the tests. Sarada is seen telling the others that this wasn’t a time to celebrate, as they would be on opposite teams in the final.
As the episode nears its end, we see the entry of a new person who praises Boruto, and he is revealed to be Kaito Kawanami of Team 9. It is revealed that he was, infact, a senior of Boruto at the Ninja Academy and will now be in the same class.
Plot Speculations
As the next episode’s title suggests, the episode will be all about the night before the final exams. In the next episode, we will get to see Lord Seventh, Sai, and Shikamaru congratulate all the students who had attempted the test and passed the tests. The students learn that Kaito had gone on a mission overseas. Sai is seen explaining the importance of the Chunin exams, while Shikamaru talks about the importance of learning the scientific ninja tool required for Chunin.
