The plot of the Anime
After the six-year-long lunar war with humans in 1973, BETA—Beings of Extra-Terrestrial origin invades the earth, leading to billions of people’s deaths. The BETA has high-tech laser weapons that can destroy even huge aircraft fleets, and this makes humans to develop giant combat suits called Tactical Surface Fighters (TSF) to fight the invaders.
BETA reached Japan in 1998. When a military student and TSF pilot named YuiTakamura is given orders to defend and fight against the invaders. After a lot of struggle and the loss of countless lives, Japan manages to win against the invaders, but the invasion itself has caused too much damage and the death of a few of Yui’s friends. This wakes a strong determination and revenge in Yuiwhen she decides that a situation like this will never occur.
Yui becomes a lieutenant three years later and joins the XFJ project. It is a project comprising Japanese and American TSF pilots who have come together to build a Japanese TSF Shiranui. The team also includes Yuva Bridges. You will follow Yui and Yuuva throughout their journey of finding a way to conquer the aliens and create peace again. Will their efforts pay off and destroy BETA, or will the aliens destroy the whole world as they have done with the few.
How humankind will conquer BETA, and the challenges they will face are the plot of the series. Who will save people from the biggest crisis is the question all the viewers have. Episode 10 will be released in a few days, where we will get to see new developments in the story. It is receiving all the hype because of the thrilling storyline.
