Orient is the upcoming Japanese animated series that has taken inspiration from the manga by Shinobu Ohtaka in the same name. The manga was picked up for creating the television anime series in January this year with animation handled by A.C.G.T. Tetsuya Yanagisawa, and Mariko Kunisawa has directed as well as written the scripts, respectively.
The designing of the characters has been done by Takahiro Kishida, while music has been composed by Hideyuki Fukasawa. The manga series also happens to be serialized by Weekly Shōnen Magazine between the time of May 2018 to January 2021 and then got handed over to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in February this year. The anime story is set during the Sengoku period in the history of Japan that focuses on the boy named Musashi. The time saw the rule by Demons while Samurai were considered to be unacceptable. Musashi will be seen confronting the demons due to his special powers.
It will be interesting to see how his journey unfurls, filled with lots of adventures and difficulties, fighting off with the one that rules and meeting new friends and new enemies that all will eventually enable him to realize the ultimate dream.

The cast members of the anime comprise of Yuma Uchida giving, the voice to lead character of Musashi, Rie Takahashi giving the voice to character Tsugumi Hattori, Soma Saito giving the voice to character Kojiro Kanemaki, Azumi Waki giving the voice to character Nanao Inusaka, Satoshi Hino giving the voice to character Naotora Takeda, and Hiro Shimono giving the voice to character Shirō Inukai.
Katsuyuki Konishi giving the voice to character Jisai Kanemaki, Haruki Ishiya giving the voice to the character of Aoshi Sanada, Saori Ōnishi giving the voice to character Shunrai Yamamoto and Wataru Hatano giving the voice to character Hideo Kosameda. No English cast has been opted for voice acting in the anime and will be in Japanese by default.
When will Orient Release?

The new anime Orient is all set to release on January 6, 2022. The opening episode will have the opening theme by Da-ice in the name of Break Out. In contrast, the concluding theme song of the series is Naniiro by Wataru Hatano.
The episodes will follow a weekly release pattern on every Wednesday on 24.00 JST, which would translate effectively to Thursday at 0:00 a.m. J.S.T. This historic adventure-filled series will be an interesting watch for genre lovers; thus, it should make its way to your watch list.
