Rebecca Thomas, the director of Stranger things, will be directing four episodes of this series so that viewers can have high expectations from it. She will also be the co-producer for the series. According to the synopsis provided by the officials, it’s said that Dan Turner is an archivist, and he takes up a job opportunity that came across him. In this job, he is supposed to restore videotapes that were created away in the past. These videotapes are from 1994 and have been damaged over time.
The videotapes are a documentary that Melody Pendras did. While he is restoring pieces of these videotapes, he comes across the fact that Melody was actually investigating a dangerous cult group that was around that time. However, he is seen convincing himself that he can save Melody, who died back in time, through the information that he is acquiring through the restoration.
