The news for the revival of third instalment broke out way before the second season ended back in 2019 May. When will Barry Season 3 release?
The last season of Barry premiered two years back in 2019 with a total of eight episodes to its credit. For season 3, the show had just stepped into its production phase, although a year late than its announcement of revival, when the pandemic imposed restrictions to its further making. All this continued for a year when in August this year, the shooting finally resumed.
Bill Hader confirmed it in October 2021 that after a month of shooting, there would be a wrap up for eight episodes of the new season. With all this, the post- production work and everything should wind up by next year so that the show can make its entry by end of 2022.
However, we have just assumed the possibility as to when will Barry come with its season 3. Official announcement will have to be waited for further update.

What can be expected from season 3 of Barry?
The earlier season of Barry ended with the protagonist reaching the Bhuddist monastery to kill Fuches and his gang. Barry manages to kill every gang member but Fuches escapes his hit. Meanwhile, Gene post freeing from prison learns that Barry was behind his girlfriend’s demise as whispered to him by Fuches.
The upcoming season might see a shift in the relation between Barry and Gene, as the latter believes Barry to be the reason for his partner’s death. The mentor-student duo might go through a rough patch in their equation in the episodes that follow. Fuches would be alive and Barry might stay distant for a while owing to his exposed unhindered character. Meanwhile Hank will certainly play a crucial role in the new instalment.
