Berserk: Golden Age Arc I is a Japanese anime film made in the genre of dark fantasy and epic fantasy. Dark fantasy is basically a subgenre of literary fantasy or some artistic work but it includes some themes which are generally disturbing and frightening for the audiences. Epic fantasy is mainly the epic nature of the setting, character, theme, or plot of a show or series.

Berserk: Golden Age Arc I is divided into three parts namely The Egg of the King, The Battle for Doldrey, and The Advent. All three parts are Japan-based and are animated. Berserk: Golden Age Arc I- The Egg of the King is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka and written by Ichiro Okouchi. The original release of the movie was done 10 years back on February 4, 2012. Then the second part was also released in the same year on June 23, 2012, and the final and third part was released on February 1, 2013.

Taking into view its great and immense fan following and love among the audiences, Berserk: Golden Age Arc I- The Egg of the King is all set to make its comeback again on a different platform.

What Is the Synopsis of Berserk: Golden Age Arc I- The Egg of the King?

The story revolves around a mercenary named Guts. A mercenary is someone who is a professional soldier but hired to serve in a foreign army. Guts killed Basuzo during a military fight but this made him attract the attention of a Band of Hawk.

The basic story of the anime makes the audience witness the ups and downs that Guts go through. The story also tells us that the Hawks were later on hired by the Kingdom of Midland to fight the Hundred Year War. The story is quite indulging and therefore gives the viewers a very great experience.

Is There Any Trailer Available For the Same?

If you haven’t watched Berserk: Golden Age Arc I- The Egg of the King but want to get an idea of what it is about, you need not worry. A short trailer was released by the official channel of Warner Bros Entertainment on YouTube back on November 21, 2012. It gives us a hint about the anime film. The trailer is only 31 seconds and by now it has around 17K views. A trailer of the other two parts is also available.

Should You Stream It or Skip It? 

As the movie is making a comeback after around 10 years of its original release, so, there would definitely be something special about the anime film. Taking into view its current fan following and craze among the viewers you should definitely not miss it. Also, the anime is a not-so-long movie. It consists of only three parts with a running time of around an hour each. So it’s a golden chance, grab onto it and go ahead, give the Japanese anime a look.

Not just Berserk: Golden Age Arc I is available to stream but the other two parts are also available to watch. Netflix has already started streaming all three parts. The other leading platforms for the release include HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube.
