Haikyuu is a Japanese Manga series. It is a comedy series. Haruichi Furudate writes the Series. Initially Series consisted of 45 volumes. It was released on 20 February 2012; the last volume was released on 20 July 2020. The best list of Haikyuu seasons is ranked and listed here.

Inspired by the manga series, its anime series was first released in April 2014. Till now, a total of four seasons have been removed. The last episode of the fourth season was released in December 2020. The Series is available on Netflix.

The story of the Series is based on sports. The story revolves around a character named Shoyo Hinata and Kageyama. They are focused on playing volleyball. Even though they have small heights, They are often called volleyball idiots.

Both the manga and its anime series were famous among the fans and got good and positive responses from everyone. The Series was also awarded Shogakukan Manga Award for the best manga in 2017. Till the record of November 2020, Haikyu has sold over 50 million copies.

As we know that Haikyu is an adaptation of manga series. Production I.G. produced it. It aired on MBS and JNN channels and with English subtitles on Crunchy-roll. Season one consists of a total of 25 episodes.

The story in season 1 is about a not-so-tall guy named Shōyō Hinata. He has big dreams that he wants to achieve and show everyone that being a small player can even play volleyball. He wants to be one of the more prominent names in Volleyball high school.

While playing for his junior high school, he couldn’t collect all the members to form a team, which resulted in them losing the match with a bad match point by the well-known player Tobio Kageyama.

He has enrolled in a high school where his idol belongs. He is all set to play his game with the best teams, but he has competition in front of him. He is none other than Kageyama and is already known as the best player.

His journey will be fascinating as it is yet to be seen what Hinata will do will he be against Kageyama. Will they be the best competitors and rivals too? Just wait for the showdown. What will happen between the two?

Season 2 is the sequel to the first season. This season consists of 25 episodes. Its last episode was released on 26 March 2016.

This season’s primary focus is on the mad and crazy volleyball players. They are practicing and trying to improve their attack art style. At the same time, the Karasuno team goes forward to attend a training camp where other top teams like Fukurodani, Nekoma, Shinzen, and Ubugawa are also in the center. They all train together and work hard to improve their skills for spring nationals.

They have the last chance for their victory before their senior graduation, which is a match with the Karasuno volleyball team, so they also learn to settle their differences.

As we know, season 3 is titled Karasuno High School vs. Academy of Shiratorizawa. In total, it has ten episodes. Its first episode was released on 8 October 2016, and its final was released on 10 December 2016.

This season is all about matches. This match will decide which team will go and play for nationals. This season is a complete summary of all three seasons. It shows how well-executed the Series is with its delivery of new twists and turns, character development, and also the growth of teams.

Karasuno continues to play a match, knowing that the opposite team is no more minor and there will be a match between the two most powerful groups. What an epic moment it is to be witnessed.

More About Season 3

The match continues with a power attack by the Shiratorizawa, not letting the opposite team overcome. This made the team of Karasuno realizes that they underestimated the other team. This season has also seen an unexpected quick attack of Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama.

First half game, Karasuno took to understand the move. They played so well that both teams had a hard time at some point. But for Karasuno, it was a whole new experience, no matter what the results were at the game’s end.

In the last episode of this season, the fifth set will decide which team will win the game, which is quite interesting. Karasuno wins the match and returns home to prepare for nationals.

Meanwhile, it was announced that Kageyama was selected for the National Youth Intensive Training Camp after clearly seeing his skills at the match, where the rest of the team was looking at him in shock.

This tenth episode is also considered one of the best episodes from all season.

Season 4 is titled “Haikyu!! To The Top”. this season was announced at the Jump Festa of 2019. Its kick-off event was also held to attract an audience born on 22 September 2019.

It was later announced that this fourth season would be released in two parts, the first part to be released in July 2020. But it got delayed because of the Pandemic, so it premiered on 3 October 2020. Season 4 has in total of 25 episodes.

After the victory of Karasuno after defeating Shiratorizawa, they earned their ticket to nationals, for which they had been waiting for so long. As preparations are on edge, the genius Kageyama is invited to the All Japan Training Camp to play along with the recognized players.

Meanwhile, Hinata feels left out as he sees everyone getting chances to prove themselves and busy with their practice.

Hinata doesn’t give up, making his frustration his motivation to move forward and prove himself. He is also determined soon to become part of his teammate’s rookie camp.
