It’s a bittersweet moment as the final season of Better Things is finally airing. The show will last for a good memorable 5 seasons, created by Pamela Adlon and Louise C.K.
Although Louise C.K was fired from Better Things and his production house was cancelled after season 2 of Better Things due to sexual misconduct by him. Pamela Adlon took on the role effectively who is also the actor playing the lead protagonist, writer, director, and executive producer of the show.
At this point, I am just glad she is not my cousin, oohh! the burn would have been deep! And the fact that’s he got nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award in the Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category for her role as Sam Fox in Better Things (2016)- Mind-blown!
The final season of the show will air on February 28, 2022, on FX at 10 p.m. ET. From the first time the show premiered on September 8, 2016, it has only gained positive reviews but Adlon thinks it is time, to lay it down.

ToggleWhat Happened in February 28 Episode?

The first two episodes of Better Things season 5 were released on the same day, February 28, 2022, with episodes following every Monday.
Ep 1: ‘F… Anatoly’s Mom’
In the first episode, Sam has gone back to acting after her not-so-pleasant experience as a director. This episode will revolve around the everyday problems a single parent juggles in her professional and private life. All three of her daughters are teenagers at this point and she is reconsidering her acting career as she is reluctant about acting as characters she can’t relate to.
Since this is the last season, could she find a new passion or realize a new road that she would be content with? Also, the new developments in the search for her family history are finally fruiting and we just have to watch the show to watch her eat it!
Ep 2: ‘Rip Taylor’s Cell Phone.’
Each episode has a runtime of around 20-30 minutes each which makes it perfect. In the story so far we see Sam so occupied with running a house and making a home that she is lost somewhere in between and has no time for herself.
Perhaps in this season she’ll expand out more and explore what makes her happy. The logline for episode 2 only says “ Sam makes choices”. You will have to watch the show to know the choices and their weight on her life. But knowing sam is a superbly sarcastic person, we are sure in for a ride.
