Get ready for the good news! The makers of the Classroom of the Elite Season 2 have officially announced after a long gap since the first season ended in September 2021. There is no information as of yet of any exact release date and we are not even sure if it will release in 2022 itself.
But such a good anime is worth the wait after all! The storyline of the anime series is taken from a novel and there is even a manga with the same name. It has completed 11 volumes of the first year and has 6 volumes set for the second year. The sixth volume of the second year is about to release on 25th February 2022.
Derivation of Second Series
Season one covered from volume 1 to 3 of the novel so it is assumed that the second season will continue on from the point where the first season left. Also, there was no movie released after season 1 that carried on from where season 1 left.
So, season 2 most likely will begin with volume 4 and end with volume 6 of the novel. Fans were unhappy with the changes made in season 1 from that of the novel series. It will be interesting to see what the makers do with the plot of the second season to impress the fans and have their support.
The release date of the second season is assumed to be declared on 6th March 2022. The second season is assumed to have 12 episodes like the first season.
The Storyline of the Series
This series is also known as Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e in Japan. It is about an intellectually gifted guy who studies in section D, where there are academically weaker students. The guy named Ayanokouji maintains his distance from everyone in his class and very rarely gets along with people. The school has a unique way of awarding points to students which acts for them as a currency and they can buy anything with it. Also, other points are given to students with the help of an organization of competitions that pits the four sections against each other in their quest of getting the highest points and being awarded as the best section.
How has Season One Ended?
The ending of season 1 is a great and unexpected one. Class D is awarded the highest points of 275 points. It was all done with the help of Kiyotaka who cunningly wins the points in their island experiment by changing the leader of the class.
It was also known throughout the first season that he didn’t much like Horikita. Thus he told her to stay out of his way. As of now, the motives of Kiyotaka are unknown. It is assumed that he did what he did to climb up the ladder to Class A. Everything now can just be known after the release of the second season. The manga readers might have learned the reason before!
Learnings From the Series
The anime series even with the simplest storyline of school-going kids has multiple intrinsic values if we notice. It shows the hierarchy structure in society through its simple school competitions.
One can also learn the necessity of good leadership qualities and to excel at certain points in life. It also shows how excelling in something in life is necessary to earn a living in life. It even portrays the importance of ambitions, goals, cunningness, and smartness in life during all turns in life.
The anime is directed by Hiroyuki Hashimoto and Seiji Kishi. It is developed in Lerche studio with Kazuaki Morita as the character designer and Aoi Akashiro as the series composer and scriptwriter.
