The second installment of the Japanese series Demon Slayer is just about to hit our screens this October, and all the anime lovers should be gear up for yet another adventure and fantasy-filled saga. The show is based on Koyoharu Gotouge, who is the writer and the illustrator of the manga series in the same name. The able director for the second edition of the adventure anime series is Haruo Sotozaki, while Ufotable has produced it. Akira Matsushima has been credited for designing the characters for the story.
In the upcoming season, the initial seven episodes will be the revamped story known by Mugen Train Arc, while the rest of the episodes post-Entertainment District Arc will know the seventh one.
What is the Storyline of the Anime Demon Slayer?
The story revolves around the protagonist named Tanjirou Kamado, who earns single-handedly to sustain his family after the loss of his father. As he goes to a nearby village to work one day, he fails to come back home and decides to take refuge in an unknown man’s home for that night as his home was situated in a remote area on top of the mountain and it wouldn’t be possible for him to return on time.
But what he didn’t expect was the fact that he would return home the other day to find his family brutally murdered and his only alive sister Nezuko turned into a demon who wanted blood. Highly disappointed by the fact that he couldn’t save his family, Tanjirou Kamado becomes determined to seek revenge for the loss of his family members and vows to turn his sister back to normal.
When will Season 2 of Demon Slayer Air with its First Episode, and Where to Watch it?
The previous season of the Demon Slayer came to an end on September 28, 2019, after successfully airing 26 episodes. The new season for this anime is set to entertain the audience once again, with its first episode being released on October 10, 2021. It will be telecast on GTV, Tokyo MX, BS11, and GYT in Japan, although at different times. Muse Communications has licensed the show for the viewers in Southeast Asia and will be available one Viu, Bilibili, WeTV, and iQIYI.
For the audience in countries like Canada, the UK, the US, New Zealand, Ireland, and Australia, Funimation takes charge of keeping them entertained with the show’s latest season. Hulu and Crunchyroll are other platforms where the fans can stream the series. However, Wakanim will stream season 2 of Demon Slayer for the audience in Scandinavian regions.
What to Expect from Episode 1 of Demon Slayer Season 2?
The upcoming season of Demon Slayer, with its first episode, will show Rengoku gearing up with other Demon Corps members to complete the task at Mugen Train. But he is not aware of the possible dangers that hide in the train, and Flame Hashira will warn him about them when he reaches there.
Unaffected by the dangers and challenges that await him and the Demon Corps, he begins to search for the accused that were responsible for abducting. But he has no clue about the impending attack from his opponent that has the motive to destroy Demon Corps.
