What Happened Previously on Episode 2 of Doctor Who Season 13?
It was seen earlier that Doctor, along with Yaz and Dan, happened to have made their presence in the Crimean war era, but Sontarans are being fought instead of Russians. But as Doctor is trying to figure out what happened, Yaz and Dan disappear. The former ends up in Williamson and Vinder in a completely destroyed temple while the latter in Liverpool, where his parents rescue him from Sontarans.

They then move to a ship where Dan and his parents connect to them via another ship. The doctor then bids farewell to Seacole and leaves that era.
