The Expected Plot of Dopesick Episode 5
This episode is titled as The Whistleblower. We’ll see Finnix overcoming his addiction. He will have to deal with a lot of guilt caused by his action towards his patients. He put his patients on opioid addiction. Betsy also gets addicted to the drug and may try to procure some of the pills. Richard will escalate his efforts to increase the sale of OxyContin outside the US. His very first target would be Germany.
However, as the country has a long procedure for the approval of drugs, it might not be easy for him to achieve the goal. We’ll also get an insight into the investigation of the public prosecutors and Agent Meyer. The investigation didn’t reach any conclusion, but it may help Ramseyer and Mountcastle. They might be able to get a whistleblower, probably someone from the company itself. The person can likely be Curtis Wright.
