Todd Phillips directed Due Date. He is famous for his work in the Hangover Trilogy where Zach Galifianakis plays a very similar, peculiar character as in Due Date. The actor definitely impressed Todd Philips!
The estimated budget of the film was $65,000,000 and grossed an estimated $100,539,043 in U.S and Canada and $211,780,824, worldwide. So, the movie definitely received a generous profit.
The movie aired after Robert Downey Jr’s fame rose after the legendary role he played as Iron Man. This was definitely a character break from his choice of films and many critiqued his choice of film. Although both the actors did an excellent job of portraying the essence of their characters to the core.

While the movie doesn’t stray much or stand out in the comedy genre. It definitely is a movie you can watch to have a good laugh; Having two polar opposite characters tackle the same problem in their own ways. It follows a somewhat similar storyline as its predecessor, the Hangover trilogy, by the same director.
Different sets of characters with drastic character differences have to be somewhere on time but are caught up by something. If you enjoy comedy-drama, this is definitely a thumbs up! It definitely makes for a good family weekend movie. Reconsiders watching it with kids as MPA rated it as R
