It was April 23, 2019, when BET premiered the first season of the American drama series Games People Play. Although the program was renewed for a second season on November 13 of this year, viewers have yet to see it. Adapted from Angela Burt-novel Murray’s “Games Divas Play,” the story is set in the realm of professional athletics, where only winners may exist. Nia, Vanessa, and Laila are followed by the males in their life, with the help of the ensemble cast, which includes a basketball player, tv reporter, and housewife.
In this American drama series, she married her childhood boyfriend, Marques (Jackson), who was on the verge of becoming a professional basketball player. According to some sources, the program was supposed to launch on September 1, 2021, but that date came and went without a word of a release date.
Karrueche Tran and Lauren London were revealed to be joining the cast of season 2 in a limited capacity in the sole update issued in September 2020. With 10 episodes, each lasting approximately 41 minutes in season 1, it’s safe to assume that the same will be true for season 2.
