Dying Light 2: Stay Human is an upcoming is action zombie shooter role-playing game, and it will act as a sequel to Dying Light, which was released in 2015; the game will be developed and published by Techland.
Is it Worth the Wait?
Dying Light is one of those first zombie survival games in which the players have enjoyed and invested several days of game time, and the creators of the game have announced a sequel to the game ‘Dying Light 2: Stay Human.’ The first game was unique and had a distinct plot and gameplay mechanics, which the players loved, but the supporting elements of the game had loose ends, such as the city was not very big, and it was very easy to get lost between the horde of zombies.
However, the game’s sequel heard what the community wanted: a bigger city and rock-solid gameplay by improving the parkour and combat mechanics of the game. Although they improved the game’s combat mechanics, the controls would be fairly easy, and one could grasp it by playing the game a few times. The sequel would also provide an interesting environment, better role-playing systems and better narration.
Moreover, this time, the game choices will affect them, and there will be puzzles as well, and the game will be more of a role-playing one than based on a single-player game. The crafting and perk tree would be present as well, but it would be much bigger this time. And, the number of weapons would be much larger in this sequel, such as a street-sign hand axe.
The game looks much more meaningful and compact than its former game and but it seems to appears to reject its legacy, but that does not mean it will make the game weaker. Only the weaker aspects have been removed, and new features were added to make the game better and exciting. In addition to all these features, they also decided to give a unique perk or ability to a character which will be the specialty of him/ her and players can unlock it from the perk tree.
The game publishers have announced that they will release the game on every important gaming platform, which means that they have included the Nintendo Switch as well. The game will have cross-play among different platforms, but there will be visual downgrades only depending on which platform the one is playing.
Release Date
Due to several reasons, the game has been delayed twice, firstly in September and the other in December, and the developers have announced that the game will be released on February 4, 2022. When the developers announced the release date of the game, everyone was shocked because several games such as Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring had gathered everyone’s attention, but it seems that Dying Light 2 was a dark horse, and it might steal the spotlight for the best game of February.
Where to Buy it?
The game can be bought from multiple places; for the PC version of the game, it is available for pre-order, and it can be purchased from the official website as well as on Steam and Epic store, for PlayStation it can be bought from the PlayStation Store, and for Xbox series X and S it can be purchased on Xbox Gamestore.
