Gaslit is based on the Watergate Scandal. It is a political thriller that entails many unknown mysterious stories along with Watergate Scandal involving Richards Nixon’s subordinates and deranged zealots and whistleblowers and they were the reason behind the crashing down of the enterprise. The story mainly started with everything revolving around Martha Mitchell, a star Arkansan socialite, and wife to Nixon’s loyal Attorney General, John N.Mitchell. Despite being a wife, she is the main person to publicly sound the alarm on Nixon’s hand in the Watergate Scandal. This causes the presidency and her personal life to be at stake. Mitchell is an attorney general, due to which Mitchell was bound to choose between Martha and the president.
Matt Rose is the director of the series and Leon Neyfakh embraced the idea of the storyline from their podcast Slow Burn. The show premiered its episode on April 24, 2022, on the original network Starz.
The main cast of this film brings verve to the story. Julia Roberts plays the role of the female protagonist Martha Mitchel encircling whom the story plays. Sean Penn as John Mitchell, Betty Gilpin as Mo Dean, Dan Steven as John Dean Darby Camp as Marty Mitchell. The other stars are Chris Bauer, Allison Tolman, Brian Geraghty, Carlos Valdes, and Chris Messina. Every artist plays their role undeniably and fabulously.
They put every essence of sentiment into the series through their character. The personality of each character brings a thrilling and mysterious spark to the stories.
When And Where To Watch?
Gaslit episode 7 is scheduled to be released on Sunday 5 June at nearly 8 pm (ET)/7 pm (CT). The episode will be available on Amazon Prime. There has been a quite long break of half week between the episodes: the first episode was released on 24 April 2022 and the second episode on 1 May 2022.
There is a gap of half a week and the viewers have to wait for so long which somewhere increases their inquisitiveness and that would automatically heighten the excitement and fun of each episode.
The whole show is accessible on Amazon Prime. It is also available on Starz and Hulu. On these OTT platforms, the series with all episodes to date is accessible. The Amazon Prime user hopefully would not face any problems found in this series.
Plot Speculation

It’s all thorns on Martha and her character. She will come across political conspiracy in the house of law. Further, She will get insulted and called mentally ill just like her father. Due to this, she sees planning and platting in everything. Also, she will be degraded and question why she put everything at risk, including her husband’s position and president. Moving on to her answer to this, she says “truth”. We can see a broken yet extremely strong woman through Martha.
