In order to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the first film in the Harry Potter lineup, The Sorcerer’s Stone, the members of the Harry Potter family are making the return in the anniversary special named Return to Hogwarts that will make its way on HBO Max on New Year’s Day. But this magical experience increased when the makers decided to give the fans a special treat in the form of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, which kept the Potter heads engrossed. This year, the four-part reality show made its way in November, just ahead of the reunion special!

The first season of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses can be streamed on DirecTV, Spectrum on Demand and TBS. However, if you want to avail of the VOD service, you can purchase the first season with all the four episodes from Apple iTunes, Google Play Movies, Amazon Prime Video, and Vudu.
The episodes will be in the high defination resolution. The competition with all its episodes will also be available for streaming on HBO Max on January 1, 2022.
What All to know before watching Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses Season 1?
The foremost season of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses is a reality-based competition show involving participants answering the questions based on the Wizarding World. For the same, they are put into various teams that eventually represent the four houses of the Hogwarts. They are Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Helen Mirren hosts the show.
The first tournament episode was aired on November 28 this year which showed Gryffindor and Hufflepuff facing off each other. The second episode that was telecasted on December 5 showed Ravenclaw against Slytherin.
The second-last episode of the tournament that was released on December 12 showed the losing teams Gryffindor and Slytherin getting one more chance in the Wildcard round to get the chance to face Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw in the ultimate finale.
The concluding episode that aired on December 19 finally showed the three teams getting their knowledge about the Wizarding World tested so that the ultimate winner could be selected. The winning team was offered a championship trophy and a special Harry Potter experience package.
Who can All be Seen in Season 1 of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses?

Helen Mirren was the host of the show for all four episodes. In addition, various guest appearances occurred throughout the four episodes. It included Tom Felton, Pete Davidson, Luke Youngblood, Giulia, Michelle, Matthew Lewis, Dan Fogler, Simon Fisher-Becker, Shirley Henderson, etc.
What Else to Know?
As already stated, this Carrie Havel-directed four-episode reality game show was a surprise gift for the avid Potter fans ahead of the premiere of the special anniversary Return to Hogwarts who’s trailer was presented in the reality show. It would comprise of interviews and conversations from various members of all the films in the Harry Potter franchise. It will be released on January 1, 2022.
