Hit And Run is a Netflix original television series directed by Mike Barker and produced by Fauda co-creators Avi Issacharoff and Raz, released on August 6, 2021, with nine episodes. It is a story about a married man Segev Azulai whose wife is killed in a mysterious accident, and he travels Tel Aviv to New York to investigate his wife’s death. He searches for his wife’s killer with the help of his ex-lover, and the secrets about his wife shock him.
Hit And Run Season 2 Release
Season 1 received a lot of positive reviews. People appreciated Segev’s acting skills. People appreciated the story’s plot, suspense and thrill. Viewers are willing to know the killer of Segev’s wife. It received a high rating of 7.2/10 in IMDb. Series didn’t face much negative review everywhere; people appreciated the efforts of the maker. There is a high possibility for season 2 since it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, so that’s means a second season will be coming. Many internet rumors said that Lior Raz is planning for another season.
Another reason for a sequel is that the series reached in the top 10 Netflix series in such short spam. No official announcement has been made about the sequel till now, but we are eagerly waiting with high expectations. Since the series was released just a few days back, Netflix may take some time to decide. It may see more reviews for two to three and then make a decision.
Expected Plot
Season 1 ended with Segev in possession of all important diary in which Danielle has written some of the accused secrets about the Israeli state. And in the end, we get to know that his ex-wife has been killed and his daughter has been kidnapped. So in season 2, we may begin with Segev find his daughter as she is always her priority. He may face a lot of difficulty in moving out from America as he has become a wanted criminal, or he may use those secrets in moving out from there. We may also see the overarching conspiracy hinted at in the first installment.
American’s President, son-in-law, might leak those secrets or Israeli’s might be caught in the white house. Season 2 may also answer the question that arose in season 1 (like who killed Seveg’s wife or kidnapped his daughter, why both intelligence agencies are on each other’s turf, how Seveg can walk through time squares and has not been caught, etc.).
