How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, or ‘Genjitsu Shugi Yūsha no Ōkuku Saikenki’ is a Japanese anime based on the same name’s manga is ‘How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’ by Dojyomaru, and Fuyuyuki illustrated it. The isekai anime was announced by Overlap on April 17, 2020. The anime adaptation has been directed by Takashi Watanabe and Go Zappa, and Hiroshi Onogi has written it.

J.C Staff has produced the anime, one of the best anime studios in Japan, and is known for its excellent and recognized works in the industry. The voice actors of the anime are:

  • Yusuke Kobayashi, who has voiced Kazuya Souma, the new king of Elfrieden kingdom and the anime protagonist.
  • Inori Minase has voiced the princess of Elfriedon kingdom and one of the five fiancées of the protagonist.
  • Ikumi Hasegawa has voiced Aisha Udgard, and she is the descendant of the leader of the sinister Elves of the God Protected Forest.
  • Reina Ueda has voiced over Juna Doma, who was a spy, and she was sent to spy upon Kazuya Souma when he became the king.
  • Mao Ichimichi has voiced Roroa Amidonia, the child of the former Principality of Amidonia.

The plot takes in a fictional world of Japan where Kuzuya Souma, a student, has been summoned into an imaginary world where he is regarded as a hero. He needs to build infrastructure to make a solid economy. Moreover, he has to save his kingdom and its citizens from demons. Thus, he needs the power and the wits to be the savior of the people.

Release Date and Where to Watch

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom’s episode ten is all set to be premiered on September 5, 2021; the tenth episode is titled ‘Soldiers have No Choice but to Enjoy Themselves.’ In Japan, the episode will be telecasted on Tokyo MX and BS 11 at 1:30 AM JST, 9:30 AM PT, 11:30 AM CT, 12:30 PM EST, and 5:30 PM BST.

The anime is available for streaming on Funimation and Crunchyroll, the famous anime streaming platforms. The show is available with the latest episodes. It has English, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles and the original Japanese voice-over; the show is also available on HULU and iQIYI.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom is one of the few Isekai released in the year 2021, and it is exciting and entertaining enough to watch. Despite the fact the anime starts slow, it quickly picked up the pace required to capture its audience. The anime has an impressive storyline, well-thought character development, character design is outstanding.

The fans have loved this anime and have enjoyed the concept and plot of the anime, and the anime also serves as important advice as one would need in their day-to-day lives; it also tells us how a kingdom can be managed ideally. However, the only downfall of this anime is that sometimes it fails to portray what the characters want to express, and it is very important for the understanding and development of the plot.

The protagonist realizes if he makes the wrong decisions, people in his kingdom will die. This Isekai anime is loved by fans all around the globe because the protagonist not only requires the power to save his kingdom from harm by the demons but also he needs the brain to do it. Overall, this anime is worth watching, and one should be waiting for the tenth episode of the series.
