Season of Christmas trees, chocolates, cakes, gifts, and gratitude is on the board! The only thing missing is the ironic How to Ruin Christmas (season 2) release, which is surely on my list of many binge-watchers. How to Ruin Christmas is an African comedy series that was first released on December 16, 2020.
After the premiere of a few episodes only, this series was able to win the hearts of its audience and successfully transformed them into its fan base. However, after the end of season one, fans were highly yearning for the second season.
So, all those people waiting since the last year can finally bring a bright smile on their faces as the second season will finally release on December 10, 2021, and will be streaming on NETFLIX only.
What are Fans Speculating Before December 10 Release?
Fans are pretty excited for the second season, and especially after witnessing the official trailer, they are not able to hold their horses; the trailer is full of colors of happiness, surprises, unfortunate moments in between with a doubtful ending, keeping the fans in a question mark.
In the second season, the traditional African family is expected to enjoy the time of their lives post-Christmas. Still, as the show’s name suggests, they get doomed by their unfortunate luck and the most admirable black sheep of their family. From the last season, fans were left with some doubts, which now will be clarified in the second season. The fire will be either silenced or will be doubled in this exciting season.

What Happened in the First Season?
So, the first season was all about the wedding of Beauty Sello and Sbu Twalla, which was almost ruined by the bridesmaid Tumi Sello through her frantic actions and indecisive plannings. Her actions were quite catchy and are surely one of the most iconic ones in the whole season.
Tumi Sello came to meet her family after two years for the occasion of her sister’s marriage. She ruined the traditional ceremony Sbu’s wealthy parents set up not once but twice! However, she came to add a feather to her sister’s marriage but ended up doing what was written on the walls.
She also did a blunder by spilling out the news of her sister’s pregnancy, which shook both the families to the core and almost ruined the commitment between them. While creating a mess in others’ lives, she didn’t hesitate to create some in her own life. She starts developing feelings for her friend Khaya and develops a toxic relationship.
Although the mess gets cleaned up by Tumi and both the families merrily ties the knot of marriage, but at the end, Tumi gets shocked when Khaya confronts her that she is not the one for him. Tumi’s heart gets shattered into pieces after listening to that, and after she thinks that things couldn’t get worse, she gets to know that she is pregnant with Khaya’s child. The season ends with a question mark.
