This series was introduced to the audience in the year 2012, and it has a total of four seasons.
Season 1 is about the discovery of Korra belonging to the water tribe. She moves out to learn air bending but eventually ends up in trouble. This series is famously known as Book one: Air and has a total of 12 episodes.
Season 2 aka Book Two: Spirits is more about exploring the spiritual world apart from bending techniques. Korra fights against the evil and also declares that the southern water tribe is an independent state from the northern tribe.
Season 3 aka book three: Change mostly happens in the Earth nation. This is about how Korra decides to sacrifice herself in order to save the air benders. Later, she ends up wounded but still saves the air benders.
Season 4 aka book four: Balance is about Korra gradually recovering from her wounds in the prior season. She fights the antagonist of the season and once again enjoys victory. The season ends as if Korra and her friend take a walk in the spirit land.
