This is an American comedy series. The show focuses on the strange experiences of the African American woman. How they are treated by the majority of the population on the basis. The series was initially released in the year 2016 and has successfully completed four seasons by now.
What is the Story About?
The show has two main leads. And both of them are the females who have been stated as the protagonists of the show. The two ladies are Issa and Molly. They have been close friends for a very long time. They started from scratch and then continued till college. They went through all the phases of life together, their studies, their relationships. Though they go through a lot of circumstances, they still chose to stay together.
Issa works in an educational organization, and she has to face a lot of trouble trying to keep up with the work and her long-distance relationship. Her boyfriend, Lawrence has been taking the relationship very lightly since his work failed. On the other hand, Molly is in the corporate sector; she has everything that she needs but is just not a better half. Because she’s bad at dating. The series throws light on the racism that they face because of the backgrounds they share.
