The latest American sci-fi series, Invasion released recently on 22nd October 2021 on Apple TV+. It has been created by David Weil and Simon Kinberg while directed by Amanda Marsalis and Jakob Verbruggen. The story revolves around the varied perspectives on an alien invasion of different people across different continents around the globe and how their life gets altered.
It stars Shamier Anderson in the role of Trevante Ward, Sam Neill in the role of Sheriff John Bell Tyson, Firas Nassar in the role of Ahmed Malik, Golshifteh Farahani in the role of Aneesha Malik, Tara Moayedi in the role of Sarah Malik, Daisuke Tsuji in the role of Kaito Kawaguchi and Shiori Kutsuna in the role of Mitsuki.
What went down previously on Invasion?
The previous episode 3 of Invasion was titled Orion which showed Ward struggling to survive in the desert without water and heavily injured due to a blast from aliens but got saved just in time by a local man. Meanwhile, Mitsuki discovers a committee being set up to investigate the happenings at her work. She soon learns that the crew members’ did see something approaching towards their shuttle when she checked their last video.
On the other hand, the bond between Ahmed and Aneesha continues to deteriorate and the former denies sharing a bed with his family. Also, all the students managed to escape well from the fall, but the teacher gets severely injured. Casper gets tricked by Monty, as the latter lies about his broken home and family, to know about the truth of his abusive father. The latter then blackmails Casper to vote for him using his information during the leader selection.
Expectations from Episode 4 of Invasion
Episode 4 has the title The King Is Dead and is penned by Simon Kinberg. The episode will showcase the rule of Monty owing to the cruel attitude of the leader of the group as he prevents anyone from scaling the walls. However, Casper would initiate to climb the wall and will become successful and would guide others out of the hole. On coming out, they would realize that the accident wasn’t because of Casper witnessing the Russian satellite’s remains that probably fell on earth.
Meanwhile, Ward would be seen rescuing one of the soldiers of his unit but would be prevented by the constant firing of enemies. Murai’s family may witness a visit by Mitsuki while Luke might run away due to the constant fighting of his parents.

The upcoming episode fourth of Invasion is all scheduled to be available on 29th of October 2021 on Apple TV+ at 12.00 am ET. Unlike the first three episodes that were released on the same day i.e. 22nd October 2021, the rest of the episodes will have a weekly release every Friday.
