The victim couple of Jack and Linda Myers took their wedding vows in 1996. Before they got married, they had children from other relationships too. This way, Linda already had a granddaughter named Amber Holscher.
Post their union, the couple heart moved to the farm where their children and grandchildren used to visit them on a regular basis. Amber recalls all the siblings sharing a close bond with each other, inclusive of Jack’s younger son, Gregg Myers.

It was then in January 1998 that Linda’s granddaughter Amber had realized her pregnancy. By early 2003, Amber had gotten married and was planning to take Dameon in with her. Unfortunately, in March, Jake & Linda were murdered, and Dameon, who discovered their corpses in the bedroom, rushed and got help. The child told the police that he had seen a “green monster” the previous night. Later, it was found that Greg Myers shot the pair wearing a green overall.

After the police found all evidence and required motive, they arrested Gregg as the culprit. The green overalls alongside that 12 gauge ammo for the shotgun with a witness providing valuable information and an alibi checking out his elder brother, it was confirmed that Greg Myers was the culprit. Even the weapons dealer confirmed Greg as the buyer for the shotgun used to kill the Myers couple.
In the present day, the mother-son duo of Amber and Dameon are all living in a much better place and state. Linda’s granddaughter Amber has been happily married for two decades now, and her son Dameon Huffman is currently in his twenties and is working for a painting contractor in Ohio.
