‘Love, Honor, Betray: In Those, We Trust is a popular Investigation Discovery-based documentary movie that focuses on the exploration efforts made by after convicting Gerard Pepin of sexual violence and sexual misconduct in 2019. Deborah Jones, Gerard’s ex-wife, was seen speaking on the show, where she was talking about her first encounter with him in Maine and her journey on how she went to Florida to start a new life, only to discover Gerard’s secret existence.

Gerard Pepin’s charges as a psychotherapist and drug and alcohol consultant who’d been convicted of sexually assaulting female clients. Pepin had already been guilty of vehicular homicide and assisting in the death of his wife, Gina Pepin.
Who is Actually Gerard Pepin?
For the people who aren’t aware, Gerard has been living in Daytona, located in Florida, alongside with his five-year wife, Deborah Jones, from May 2011. He had volunteered with the Salvation Army, where he was given the role for counseling at-risk adolescents and recovering drug users.
On the fourteenth of the same month, he got accused for pressurizing one of his clients into having oral sex with him. Gerard first rejected the claims and, according to the show, only agreed to hand her a vibrator. The police did not have any physical evidence to arrest him at the time; therefore, the case was halted.
Investigation on Gerard Pepin Starts Again!
Georgia spotted a suicide letter in Gerard Pepin’s previous home with his fourth wife, Gina Pepin. Security footage which clearly unrevealed the couple exiting the hotel parking space in a Ford Mustang. Witnesses watched the Mustang get off of the roadway into neighboring woods until rolling over twice a short time later in Long County, GA. Gina Pepin died after being dragged from the truck while Gerard Pepin escaped.
Pepin has also been charged with sexual assault in Daytona, Florida, and he was alleged to have a connection with sexual abuse suspects in Bangor, Maine, per the lead investigators. Pepin had already been required to operate a drug and alcohol treatment facility in Bangor, but that was shuttered in 2005 after being accused of “exceeding ethical limitations with a patient.”
About Deborah Jones
Deborah, who lived in Skowhegan, Michigan, was a divorcee with an adult son. She was working in the mental health sector just at the moment, assisting individuals with their medicine and other such matters. Deborah found Gerard in 2005 through an online matchmaking app and felt she strongly liked him.
How is Deborah Jones’ involvement in the Investigation?
At about the same moment, another lady from Maine called his wife, Jones, to allege that Pepin had sexually assaulted her as well. Jones then informed the police and explained that she intended to assist in bringing her hubby to justice. Jones had managed to discreetly tape her hubby’s confessions towards his involvement for sexual assault, leading to his imprisonment.
When it took to take Pepin to court on these accusations, he wedded Gina Pepin then tried to commit suicide in Georgia in a Ford Mustang. He became guilty of vehicle murder and helping in Gina’s suicide in 2017 and was condemned to five years in prison. In 2019, Pepin was ultimately charged with felony assault and a jury hearing the tape which Jones allegedly retrieved. He was later resentenced to years of imprisonment.
