Who Killed Sara? It is a Mexican mystery thriller series and was created by José Ignacio Valenzuela and produced by Perro Azul. It premiered on Netflix on 24th March 2021. The story goes with Álex Guzmánm being wrongly convicted of murdering his sister, Sara.
After leaving prison, the post being imprisoned for 18 years, he makes it his goal to find the real killer of his sister and get revenge on the family that wronged him, the Lazcanos. Season 2 of the series was released merely two months after the first, on 19th May 2021. In the season finale, Season 3 was announced. The finale of season 3 premiered on 18th May 2022.
Is Sara Alive?
Of all the theories of Who Killed Sara? The one about her being alive is the most intriguing. Since Sara’s body was never seen in the hospital, people have speculated that maybe she did survive and escaped the hospital. She’s probably hiding somewhere, waiting to show herself at the right time. People say that she might have wanted Alex to go to prison because he was not as good a brother as he seemed to be.
There are also speculations that maybe she was kidnapped by Nicandro’s family so they could perform experiments on her for the so-called “Medusa Project,” and maybe she escaped there and is hiding. This would be a pretty cool idea, as it could change the way people think about the show.
Maybe Nicandro Killed Sara
Supposing Sara was dead, there are two main possibilities as to who killed her. One possibility is that Nicandro and the doctor killed Sara. Nicandro had motive to kill Sara. Sara told his parents that he was dealing with and using drugs. On the phone, Nicandro tells the doctor how Alex assumes Manifer cut the parasailing ropes to kill Sara but that he can never find out that it was the doctor and himself.
It is possible that Nicandro got her into drugs that would worsen her already terrible mental state and got her in treatment with a doctor under his control to silence her. Possibly a situation of Sara getting in way over her head and paying the price.
Could Alex Have Killed Sara?
In all the flashbacks, Alex is this oblivious child who has no idea what’s going on. He has no clue about Sara’s mental health issues or that she was struggling with the knowledge about her biological father. He’s oblivious that Sara had gotten into drug dealing with Nicandro.
When Sara was threatened for her life by Abel, who wrecked the house, and was finally killed and buried in the backyard by Cesar, Alex just happened not to know anything about it when he was back from the gym. This theory asks if Alex was as innocent as was shown. Or were the flashbacks only showing this side of him?
