Animation has always been a center of attraction for kids and teenagers to a large extent. And in the past, a lot of animated series have been there which have made childhood awesome for 2000s kids, and the list includes names like Pokemon, The Jungle Book, DuckTales, The Dragon Prince, and many more. “Johny Test” is also one of the lists which firstly premiered in the year 2005.
Since then ‘Johny Test’ has given innumerable memories to 2000s kids and teenagers. The video streaming giant played a master card by reviving the story with all-new episodes on July 16, 2021.
However, if we count the seasons since 2005, it was the seventh season of the animated series, but the creators titled it Season 1 of “Johny Test.” Now, this Canadian Sci-fi fantasy series is getting a new season which has raised the excitement bar for its viewers.

Developed by WildBrain, the adventure comedy series has become quite popular among kids within a short period. Although it can’t be counted in the blockbusters list yet, it wasn’t a total waste of time and had managed to earn quite mixed reviews through its fans and critics. Now, fans of the show are desperate to watch the all-new season. So, as mentioned, Season 2 of ‘Johny Test’ will be premiere on January 7, 2022.
Episode Count: “Johny Test” Season 2
Premiered on July 16, 2021, the first season of ‘Johny Test’ had 20 episodes. However, usually on Netflix, a sequel contains the same episode count as that of the original season. But, the second season of the Canadian comedy fantasy is more likely to have more than 20 episodes along with a participatory special.
Though the streaming hub has not confirmed it officially, a 66-minutes long participatory special will come very soon, and probably other movies will also be joining the special episode. Soon, season 2 will be available on Netflix. So, don’t waste your time if you haven’t taken the subscription yet; do it fast!

The show created by Scott Fellows and directed by Tim Stuby and Jim Miller has gained quite good responses from the critics and audience as well. The show has managed to earn 5.2 out of 10 stars on IMDb and 6.5 out of 10 on the Rating graph.
