The America-based OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video in collaboration with China-originated video-sharing application TikTok has made a new and never seen before UK series by the name Just So You Know. It is inspired by Amazon Prime’s original anthology series Modern Love developed by John Carney. The newly released series Just So You Know has been the directorial project of Joseph Wilson, who is popular for his commendable contribution to self-acceptance and identity.
He happens to be a drag queen and a popular filmmaker too. The director has expressed his sheer delightful enthusiasm for creating a project that would enable the sidelined communities to voice their definition of love and reach greater masses. He also added that the chance to make something that is concerned with LGBTQ+ and highlights their take on the portrayal of love has been special to him.
Daniel Molyneux, who is an upcoming dancehall expert, has been responsible for creating the music for each of the episodes in Just So You Know. The compositions have also been made available on TikTok as the Tik Tok Sounds so that the individuals using the application can also use the soundtracks for their video creation.
What’s the Story for Just So You Know?
Just So You Know comprises six episodes that showcase how six different individuals belonging to the LGBTQ+ community express the essence of love by penning down letters to someone or something they truly love. The characters are originally the TikTok stars who write their emotions ranging from being mothers to loving to perform.
The episodes are presented in the form of their confessional videos showcasing their take on love. Keith Jarrett, who happens to be an accomplished writer and a performer, has adapted the letters written by the social media creators.

Just So You Know features stars that represent the LGBTQ+ community and mainly comprise of drags, trans and non-binary individuals that try to portray the meaning of love in their own way through writing letters and how love can be viewed through their perspective in this era. Cast includes TikTok sensations like DJ Krystal Lake, Tyreece Nye, the drillmaster Mista Strange, Elliot Douglas, Bailey Mills, and choreographer Tarek Khwiss
Release Date for Just So You Know
The show Just So You Know premiered on the UK account of Amazon Prime of TikTok on 26th of August 2021 Thursday. The viewers would also be able to watch the series on TikTok, whether online or in the application itself, with no requirement for the subscription of Amazon Prime.
