Recap of the Previous Episode
In the previous episode of Chimera, the people and the media were shaken when they learned that Ju Seok, the detective, had been abducted and murdered. Before the media and police could recover from this heartwrenching news, another explosion and abduction took place, and we get to see a flashback from the year 1984, in Macheon, where we saw another murder incident similar to the way Ju Seok died.
The investigator working on the explosion case reached the office work, he noticed unusual oxygen cylinders and flickering lights, and before his final moments, he saw a graffiti of ‘Chimera’ on the wall, and the room burst out into flames.
Expected Plot
In the 6th episode of the Chimera, the audience can hope to see some more information from the Seiryeon group. A large number of people have been protesting outside the ‘Seoryon group’ for the reimbursement of the members who have lost their lives because of the faulty product of the company, which they called Evergreen. The people who are supporting these protestors are forcing the investigators to look into the issue even more.
Since the people have been protesting relentlessly, therefore, the company is losing it in the jury of their own because one of the members of the company told that the product Evergreen is harmful for consumption, whereas the other member says otherwise, that is, the product is safe for consumption and the death of those people was because of a different reason.
Hyun Tae, the CEO of the company, wants to rebrand the product and asks its members to rebrand the product with minimum losses. Since the police chief is connected to the company’s internal board, one call from them made him release Dr. Joong Yeop. There are a lot of things the people in power are hiding, the senior detectives, and even the doctors as well. But as the series progresses, every dark and dirty secret would come into the light.
